Obituary of Susan M. Kinney

Susan M. (Plume) Kinney, 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Susan was a life long resident of Syracuse, attending Convent High School and LeMoyne College. She was a member of St. Ann’s Parish and volunteered with the Oxford Street Shelter. She was a member, and past vice-president of the Selkirk Beach Association and was a vice-president for several years of the Westhill Booster Club. She was predeceased her husband, John P. Kinney. She is survived by her children; Beth (Andrew) Nolan of Scottsville, NY, John Patrick (Mara) of Syracuse, David (Beth), and Matthew all of Portsmouth, NH, 7 grandchildren with another one on the way, her sister, Janet Gieselman, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10am at St. Ann’s Church: 4471 Onondaga Blvd. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to the Westhill Booster Club in C/O of c/o Kathleen Matukas 4728 Lawsher Drive, Syracuse, NY
