Obituary of Noreen Kelly Driscoll

Noreen Kelly Driscoll passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 surrounded by her family and her wonderful friends. She was a life resident of Tipperary Hill, very proud of her Irish roots and very proud of her uncle who was Stonethrower. Noreen was predeceased by her husband, Edward (Butch) and her parents, Emmett and Rita Kelly. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's School attending there from kindergarten until the day she graduated. Noreen attended OCC and graduated from Powelson Business School. She retired from Niagara Mohawk and was currently employed at St. Patrick's Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary and the Parish Council and co-chaired their Irish Festival for 20 years. Noreen is survived by her two sons, Patrick, and Gallagher (Missy), daughter, Kelly (Sean) Dadey, her daughter-in-law, Eileen, her five grandchildren who she referred to as her baby dolls; Patrick, Molly, Emma, Sean and Catherine, her brother, Rocky (Sue) Kelly and her five nephews that she always considered her other children, Emmett, Kevin, Matthew , Brian and baby Michael. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10am at St. Patrick's Church. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church; 216 N. Lowell Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204
