John Perkins Bennett, of Westvale, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 3rd, 2022. John was born, April 10th, 1951, in Tipperary Hill to the late John and Mildred Bennett. He graduated from St. Patrick’s High School, Class of 1969, and the University of Buffalo. John retired as treasurer of Welch Allyn and worked as an accountant at Dermody, Burke, and Brown and Crouse Hinds. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and friends. He enjoyed playing golf, reading, listening to music, singing, cooking out of the Dinosaur BBQ cookbook, Gannon’s ice cream, Rock Steady Boxing, SU sports, and his Wednesday afternoons at The Blarney Stone with his life long friends. John’s quick wit and quiet strength will always be remembered. He was a kind, thoughtful, humble, gracious, generous, patient, courageous and persistent man, loved by so many.
