To Jim & Wick's entire family,
I met Wick when my mom moved in down the hall at the Nottingham. This close proximity enabled me to get to know him. I loved talking to him. A friend and I started a monthly Bible Study at the Nottingham and Wick rarely missed one. When my mom went to heaven the Bible Study continued, and so did my friendship with Wick. He would always be amazed as I would ask him about his years working with Dr Kent in the service. He would ask me how I knew and I would tell him he told me. He would smile. He would often ask where he was and where his wife and family were. I would tell him he has trouble remembering things but that he was at the Nottingham, his wife was in heaven and his family visited often. I also told him what a celebrity he was at the Nottingham, which always brought a humble response. Then, I would be able to point him to his wonderful book "Wick at the Nottingham" which had pictures, maps, etc. and told him all about himself. He would always be so comforted by it. I was amazed how he recounted stories from the not so recent past with such clarity. When we played hymns at the end of the Bible Study he would often be softly humming or singing along. I was so happy to meet his new friend Louie, who seemed to be a great companion who Wick seemed to just adore. Thank you for sharing Wick with me. I know he is with the Lord and things are so clear to him now. I can't wait to see him again. I pray the Lord gives you His peace in knowing that your dear Wick is with Him and He is taking good care of Him for you.

Mr. Wickersham was an incredible human being. He has always impressed me as such an accomplished individual, veteran, and family man. I am sure he would say that his most cherished accomplishment is his beautiful family that he and Loie produced together. What a legacy of fantastic children , grandchildren and great- grandchildren they created! God bless Mr. Wickersham !

My most sincere condolence to the Wickersham family.
I enjoyed the stories about Mr. Wickersham told by his son Mike.
Mike is a great friend and former coworker.
I can now see where Mike got his work ethic from.
