I am truly saddened to learn of Ned's passing. We spent so much time together when we were young. I still remember my grandmother complaining about finding him sitting in the back wall when she got up. He was always up early and wanted to go out to play. We were both interested in cars and racing. We spent many Sundays at the dragstrip in Cicero and lots of weekends at Watkins Glen.
It's sad that lives go in different directions. When we did see each other we talked like we hadn't missed a beat. I am truly sorry that we have lost him. Unfortunately, Nancy and I are in Florida. We send you all our sympathy. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

My sincerest condolences go to the entire Hewitt family especially Kathy and Chris who were classmates at St Pat's. Even though Ned has lived in Marcellus for many years our paths didn't cross until my retirement four years ago. I walk two to three miles In Marcellus every day and most days I would see Ned at the Hardwood Flooring store. We would exchange pleasantries and often talk about our growing up years on Tipp Hill. We had a lot of laughs together. I will truly miss Ned's humor and our friendship.

It is so difficult to lose a sibling in an untimely manner. I am so sorry you all have to go through this. I didn't know Ned well, but I do remember he always had a big smile and a winning personality. God bless all of you. Ned’s Family,
We are so saddened to hear about Ned. We moved in next to Ned in the winter of 2013. We instantly loved his friendly demeanor, humor and ability to fix anything! He would drop anything to help us out. He truly was a wonderful man! Our first born, Keegan, looked forward to waving and yelling to Ned every day.
