Oh My, My dear friend Sully has passed away. Sully was a wonderful shining star in my life. He was a true gentleman, I met Sully back in the early 1980's when my husband Michael and I bought a camp in Beaver River, NY. Sully also had a camp in Beaver River and his camp just happened to be right next door to us. Many vacations spent in Beaver River were spent socializing often with Robert Sullivan. Sully and Mike loved fishing in The Stillwater and navigating in those hard to get to places in the smaller boat. We spent many hours having meals together and sitting around the campfire. The stories and tales shared will always be a special part of my memories.
Mike passed away in 2012 and Sully still remained a very close friend to me. He would call me often to just see how I was doing. We corresponded with notes and cards throughout the past years. I am very grateful and blessed to have known him. Someone said these comforting words to me before and they are so fitting now again: "One Life, well lived, is a wondrous thing" . Mike, Brian, and I enjoyed all the treasured times spent with Sully. My sincere sympathy to his family.
