I missed the services for Tom and I want to extend my condolences to his family. I knew Tom all my life. He grew up on Wolcot Ave and I was around the oorner on Vieau Dr.,
He was always friendly and helpful to us younger kids. Later on when ever I would see him he was always a true gentleman.
His sister Mary was a wonderful person. I worked for many years with Linda. What a great person she is.
A life cut short. I pray he is with his parents and his sisters. RIP Tom

Tom and his family shared their home and lives with many friends throughout their lives.....Marie Ditch did her stint as our Cubscout Den Mother....Made "sputnik" ornaments out out round styrafoam 'snowballs; toothpicks, that had been smeared with good smelling, Lepages whit glue, liberal coatings of colored metal glittery 'sprinkles........ What a home
project for 8-10 cub scouts......Wonder if they ever got the sprinklles out of their kitchen.....Remember huge Scotch Pine in the alcove in their living room, do I remember a Lionel like my father got me? Tom's father managed Ditch and Anderson....He was our scout leader...Us scouts got to tour the company. As Cub Scouts, we also got to tour Kalfell's Bakery, and Byrne(sic?) Dairy.......Camping at Highland Forest, and Heaphy's Camp tenting.....Lots of good memories, from good people and their familes.........Play and frolic Tom, and experience thrills you never in this life in the gladness of our Creator's Heaven, with the communion of Saints.......God loved you Tom Ditch, as He loves ALL His creations..........Thank God for the Baltimore Catechism, for all of us.......... Dear, Dear Marcia,
Read Andrea's post last week and was so sorry to read of Tom's health condition. Had NO idea it was this serious and when I read his obit, I was shocked and so sadden for this to befall your family. My very sincere sympathy, Marcia. May Tom now Rest-in-Peace with no more struggling.
