Obituary of Stephen M. Gudknecht

     Stephen M. Gudknecht, 37, of Camillus, NY passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018.  Steve was a manager at Chilis Restaurant.  He liked SU athletics and the Denver Broncos.  He enjoyed cooking, eating and going to camp at Sackets Harbor but above all else, Steve loved his children.  He was devoted to his parents and was the rock of his family.

     Steve is predeceased by his maternal grandmother and grandfather, Marjorie and George Ruff.   He is survived by his children, Adrianna and Nikolaus, parents, Nancy and Winthrop Chappell, brother, Chris Chappell, girlfriend, Brittany Ptak, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

     A going home ceremony will be held at 6pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6pm prior to the service.  Burial will be private.
