Obituary of Peg Weber
Margaret “Peg” Vathy Weber passed away peacefully on January 24, 2019 at the age of 92. Born in Buffalo NY, she lived in Rochester N.Y., San Antonio Tx., and Reno, NV. Peg was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Edward Weber, son, Joseph Weber and grandson, Lucian Pagano. She is survived by her seven children; Joan Weber of Reno, NV, Marie Pagano (Nicholas) of Syracuse, NY, Paula Tedford (Randy) of Reno, NV, Mary Ann Weber of Reno, NV, John Weber (Marilyn) of San Antonio, TX, Clare Weber (Felix) of Los Angeles, CA, Michelle Weber (Charles) of Modesto, CA, and her sisters, Clara Vathy of Buffalo, NY and Mary Pelz of Angola, NY. Peg was so proud of her 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Peg was an advocate for the disabled and was involved in the development of the “Day Care Center for Handicapped Children” and the Al Sigl Center in Rochester, NY. She played the organ and was active in her church and community. She could discuss politics and football with anyone! All who knew her have at least one of her knitted afghans.
The family extends their greatest gratitude to the caring and respectful staff on the “C Unit” at St. Camillus Residential Health Care Facility in Syracuse NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 6, 2019 at 10am at St. Ann's Church, 4471 Onondaga Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13219. Burial Will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, 2932 Warners Rd, Warners, NY 13164.
