Liebe Familie Kolovrat
Herzliche Umarmung an Eleonore.

Dear Eleanor, dear Jeff and Marion
The news of Fred passing away created much sadness in our hearts. But we have many good memories of the meetings with Fred here in Bavaria as well as in Syracuse and even in Avon. And we are glad that we saw him once more in the nursery home in 2017. When we had phone calls he always told of his dream to come to Altraunhofen once more to see again the places were Sylvester lived when he was a boy and a young guy before moving to the States and to meet with all the Peissinger relatives and to spend some hours at the Stammtisch at Obermaiers.
I remember the moment when we said "good bye" in the home. Fred had tears in his eyes and we all realized that this was our last visit.
We never will forget the common time with this great friend of us.

With great sadness I read the mail with the news of Fred`s death.
I would like to give my condolences to the whole family.
I am glad that I got to know Fred and that we had visited him on his Birthday two years ago.
He was a great man who had a lot to talk about and I liked to listen to him.
He was a friend to all and also at the Obermaier-Stammtisch.
I raise the glass and drink a beer on you at Vilserwirt.
Rest in Peace.
