Obituary of Luke Patrick Naughton
Luke P. Naughton passed away unexpectedly August 14, 2019 with his family and friends by his side. Luke was born in Syracuse on February 16, 1974 and is a 1992 graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels and bartended for years at places like the Kitty Hoyne’s, Kahunaville, The Westwood and High Tops in Baltimore before getting into business for himself with the Pale and Bucket Restaurant and the Lamont Tavern. He will be remembered for his smile and ability to make people feel welcome whether he was behind the bar or just hanging with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and an ability to brighten up your day. Luke enjoyed golf, the Adirondacks, spending time with his son, Myles and get togethers with his tight knit family and huge circle of friends.
Luke is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Bernadette (Casey) Naughton, his older brother, Thomas, nephew, Stevie Phelps and niece, Meghan Naughton.
He is survived by his son, Myles; siblings, Patti Naughton, Susan (Steve) Phelps, Tracy Naughton, Dawn (Patrick) Sullivan, John (Jamie) Naughton, and Bill Naughton; nieces and nephews, Heather Miller, Joey and Julie Phelps, Rick, Josh and Abby Webster, Madeline, Emma, Katie, and Casey Sullivan, Tyler, Bryce, Ryan, Brian, Kyle, Cody, Shawn and Liam Naughton, 4 great nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be 4-7PM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Most Holy Rosary; 111 Roberts Avenue in Syracuse, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10AM at Most Holy Rosary. Burial will be private.
