Obituary of James J. Mack

James J. Mack Jr., 75, of Westvale, passed away on March 31st at Francis House. He was born in Syracuse on September 7, 1944 to the late James and Gertrude Mack.  Jimmy attended Most Holy Rosary school and graduated from APW. He attended Powelson Business School. Jimmy worked for Graybar Electric for 30 years and Total Lighting Concept for many years as an electrical salesman. He was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church.

Jimmy loved spending time with his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest and had an awesome sense of humor. He enjoyed SU football and basketball, golfing and traveling. He would spend winters in Surfside Beach, SC with his wife, Patty.

Jimmy was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Mack.

He is survived by his son, David Mack; daughter, Maureen(Chris) Catone; grandchildren, Conner and Colin Catone; sister, Elizabeth (Larry) Naum; sister in laws and brother in laws, Cynthia (Stanley) Harwzinske; Edward (Charlene) McGraw; many nieces, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

His Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, July 11th at 10am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave. Calling hour will be 9am to 10am prior to the service at church. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Caregivers and volunteers at Francis House, as well as his in- home caregivers Stephanie & Tricia, for their compassion and wonderful care they gave to Jimmy.
