Hi this is Liz and Dave Beebe. I remember Carrie from Solvay High School where our friendship began.We stopped on many occasions at her home in Jordan and her knowledge of antiques was amazing. We had forgotten that she was Justice of the Peace in Jordan. Both of us had a passion to explore and our trips took us to a swamp in Taunton where we caught and released snakes. We visited her while she was Director of the Manlius Historical Society where she did always an excellent job. The Gem Society, where she was a member, visited our pavilion at our Erie Canal Park for many years. She will be missed forever! Liz and Dave Beebe

Carrie was an inspiration, she was a lady, quite refined and always a pleasure to listen to, loved her insights. I knew Carrie from the Gem & Mineral Society of Syracuse. she taught me how to bead using string. She was a great teacher, she had perfected techniques and made sure her students knew how to use them. And she always had a story to tell about the stones she used in each necklace she created and I was always fascinated. Attaching a photo from the club's 2015 holiday party where she is showing Santa's helper - John Sweeney, the door prize she picked out.

Thank you Judy for the kind words about my mother and sharing your memories. That means a lot. She loved her times in the Gem Club and sharing her love of making jewelry. We will celebrate her life September 26 at 11 am at Paige’s Butterfly Garden next to Onondoga Lake Park. You’re welcome to join us!

Carrie was my neighbor. I saw her as an accomplished and interesting woman, though I didn't realize how true that was until I read her obituary. My condolences to her family; she will be missed. Rosemary
