Dear Lounsberys,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I have many fond memories of playing at your house while visiting Kenny and Rita on Lathrop Rd. Throughout the years, every time I ran into your mom, she always had a big smile on her face. Sending you all lots of love and prayers.

I read with great sadness Peg's obituary. She was a guiding light to many and a friend to all. Her smile and the twinkle in her eyes will be missed. Sue & I shared many laughs and good times with your Mom & Dad over the years. To Michael, Tim, Marne, Dan, Sean, Kate and the extended Lounsbery family and to John, Billy & Tom Dacey, our sincerest condolences. Yes, she will be missed but not soon forgotten.

I am so lucky to have had 30 years with such a loving nana. She had a strong personality, which is one of the things I like to think I got from her. She had a great sense of humor and my favorite memories all include us laughing together. We didn't always agree, but we always loved eachother and showed it. She was there for every surgery I've had and she was there when I was born. She was so proud and excited when I became a mom, and I am so happy that she got to share her love with my baby. She was a huge part of my life and she will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry for all who knew and loved Peggy & I know the list is long. She and I found so many treasures on our garage sale outings but the very best treasure of all was our friendship, our sisterhood, and our time hand & hand together. I will miss her.

To Mike, Marnie, Tim and to Peg's other children and family
Your mom was the best! I met Peg when she started taking my painting classes. She was so much fun always laughing and making others laugh.
I called Peg two weeks ago and of course our chat and chuckle was wonderful.
I feel so blessed to have had Peg in my life even if it was only for a few years.
You are in my thoughts and in my prayers.
God Bless You
Gerri Rich

Michael, Timmy, Marnie, Danny, Sean and Katie - Tim and I would like to express our most sincere condolences in the loss of your mom. We both have so many fond and fun memories of time spent with Peggy, Lonnie and all of you. Peggy's infectious giggle and twinkling eyes could always light up a room. Thankfully she was a very generous soul because she helped this clueless single mom with day care issues saving both Shannon and me. We are sharing in your sadness today and every day. Remember to love and hug each other. XO Julie Davis

Michael, Marnie, Tim, Dan, Sean, Katie and the Dacey family,
Michael and I, as well as Tracy and Ridgely, send you our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. We are grateful for the wonderful memories we have of Peggy through so many years. The middle of the night Christmas Eve phone call from Lonnie saying Danny was on the way, come watch the kids; your mother watching Tracy and Ridgely so we could attend my brother's wedding in California, Michael and Tim's high school football games at Westhill, Tim and Ridgely proudly displaying their freshly killed Canada goose as we were just sitting down to dinner, Tracy taking little Katie for a horseback ride on Noble, weddings, showers and so many more. Your mother was truly a very special person, strong, capable, loving, kind and talented. She lived a life filled with acts of kindness and generosity of spirit. She so loved each of you and each of her grandchildren. One of our last conversations was all about what her grandchildren were doing.
Michael and I wish for you and the Dacey family the kind of peace and warmth that comes from gratitude for having shared in a life of meaning. Hold on to each other during this difficult time.
Sending love and hugs,
The Thoreck’s

Michael, Marnie, Tim and Family,
John and I, along with both Olivia and Nick, send our warmest condolences on the loss of your mother. I was blessed to have known her for many years and the rest of my family, since we became neighbors. I will miss a wave here and there, and the kids won't forget her kindness, especially on Halloween, when she prepared special treats for them each year. There is nothing like the loss of a parent, as you have known for many years. It's especially challenging when the loss leaves you parentless and the "glue" is gone.
Wishing you peace and gentleness on this journey.
All our love,
The Sauros

I first met Mrs. Lounsbery in the early 1990's through my work at Mackenzie Hughes. I'd like to express my condolences to the entire family. She was a truly remarkable, wonderful woman and I so enjoyed the time I spent with her. Losing your mom is so very difficult, made especially more so during these trying times. I hope you find peace in your memories of her. I am so sorry for your loss

I have many memories of Aunt Peggy encouraging me to pursue nursing which I did! She even gave me her "Nurse Dacey" pin which I wore proudly around the house as a kid! Aunt Peggy knew that I was shy and she always did everything she could to help me feel comfortable in large family gatherings.
I loved that you wrote that she believed that "mothering was a verb"- such a great description of her- and I have benefited greatly from her warmth. My love to all of my aunts, uncles and cousins!
