A true renaissance man and craftsman. As a kid living across the street from Chuck, I was always in complete awe of his wide array of interests and unbridled enthusiasm with so many projects. Looking back, I wished I could have apprenticed and learned his many skills from him. He had a huge impact on my outlook on life. My heartfelt condolences to Lisa and Beth and your families. He will be greatly missed.

I remember Mr Trabold and his second wife, Rae from the physicians office I worked at and knew them both for many years. I was always so impressed by his woodworking skills, and actually still use a letter opener he was kind enough to give me many years ago. I met Mr Trabold in our woodworking club about 15 years ago. He was not just a hobbiest, but an exceptional craftsman and a mentor to many of us in the club. He would not only share and teach his craft to myself and our club members, but would encourage our creativity and personal styles with enthusiasm and praise. My approach of my hobby will forever be changed by this amazing person. Thank you for sharing him with us. He is truly missed but lives forever in the projects he has inspired. Charles Bo Rinn

Mr. Trabold was a dear neighbor to all of the Kirschs, especially our parents. He was very gracious in sharing his talents and his wood working skills were unsurpassed. “Charlie”was an important part of our lives growing up, a wonderful soul indeed. You have my deepest sympathy. Mary Kirsch Lampe

To Mr Trabolds family We are very sorry to read about Mr Trabolds passing. I picked the green tractor because it was the closest to the little green car he made when we lived on Highridge. He & Mrs Trabold drove by with a smile! It was great to be invited to his 80th Birthday celebration. Our parents enjoyed reminiscing with former neighbors and GE co-workers! Later, seeing Mr Trabold at the State Fair, or at least his woodwork crafts made me feel good. On my Mother’s last trip to Syracuse, we found Mr Trabold at home and I got a cane for my Father. He treasured it! (We still have it!) I’ll add the photo when I locate it. We are very sorry and send our deepest condolences.
