Hi All - Sorry for the delay in sending this, but just found this picture and wanted to include it in my post. Denny was a roommate of mine at Rochester for my senior year - 1977. He (I think a sophomore) and another senior made up an off-campus house located near the Armory on Main Street. Great guy; lots of fun, wonderful laugh and a great hoops player for our intramural basketball team. Nice, nice guy and only good thoughts of Denny. Regretfully, I never saw him again after this picture was taken in May of ‘77, but never forgot about him and have thought often after learning of his passing. Bob Carragher (bcarragher51@gmail.com)

Dennis was my father and I really wish things would of been different . . .I always thought that one day we would meet and hopefully have some kind of relationship. It’s sad to now know that will never happen.

I loved Denny Gilmartin. His kindness. His smile that lit up his Irish eyes. How much he loved his dog. My mother loved him and the whole Gilmartin family. Perhaps they are toasting us all together now. Rest In Peace sweet man.
