Obituary of Ann C. Wilson

Ann Christine (Gorman) Wilson, of Onondaga, passed on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. She was born in the city of Syracuse, and attended Most Holy Rosary and graduated from Central Technical High School.  From there, she graduated from SUNY Alfred where she met her husband of 46 years.  She continued her education and graduated from Ohio University before returning to the Syracuse area. She worked at Hartford Insurance for 31 years as a claims adjuster and supervisor.  During her retirement, she traveled extensively with family and friends including safaris in Africa, the ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the Iguazu waterfalls in Argentina.  Her travels spanned 6 continents.  Visiting unusual places was her passion. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

 

Ann is predeceased by her parents, John R. and Alice P. Gorman. She is survived by her husband, Frederick, children, Catherine (Peter) Mosher, Stephen (Deborah), Michael and Maureen and grand-children, Devon, Emma and Madeline, and siblings, Thomas, Joan, Judith, Maureen, John and Susan, along with many nephews and nieces.

 

Family and Friends may call from 4pm to 7pm, February 10th at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
