Obituary of Rose Boyle

Rose Boyle, 94, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021. Rose was born in Syracuse, a daughter of the late Anthony and Maria Pitrone Cosimano. She was raised and educated in Syracuse schools. Rose married Leo Boyle in 1953, with whom she enjoyed a blessed union of almost 30 years before his passing in 1983. Rose was a long-time communicant of St. Charles - St. Ann's Parish and served on several committees. Rose was a fabulous baker and cook and was never happier than when she was entertaining her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, William (Katherine), daughter-in-law Sheila, grandchildren, Michael (Erin), Mary Beth, Nicholas and Allison, great-grandson, Oliver, and many nieces and nephews.

Rose was pre-deceased by her son, David, sisters, Connie Narduzzo and Lena Pallone and brothers, Salvatore and Ross Cosimano. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday, April 7 at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 501 South Orchard Road., Westvale. Friends may call from 10-10:30am prior to mass. All COVID safety protocols will be followed. Private interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Rose's name can be made to the Food Pantry at St. Charles - St. Ann's Parish, 4461 Onondaga Blvd., Syracuse, NY 13219.
