So sad to hear of Fr. Tuckers passing. He had a long and fulfilling life.
When I was young he got me my first real job. It was with Martisco Corp the plumbing supply store where he worked before he got his calling. I was so grateful as it sent me on a long and fulfilling career in the HVAC business before my retirement.
I am sure he is looking down on us and smiling.
God bless him.

RIP Fr. Tucker and condolences to your family. Remembering those early years at St. Matthew's being an altar server (1963-1964), and his instruction about the sanctity of Mass and the proper way to conduct ourselves while serving. He kept tabs on school work and not afraid to tell me he knew my parents well if any appropriate action might be needed in that area. A good influence during our formative years. A good man, a good priest.
Please accept the most heartfelt sympathies of Le Moyne College. We hope the love and memories you will forever hold in your heart bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
I served as an altar boy at St. Matthews and Father Tucker was a tremendous priest. He was a holy man with a caring soul. He also had a humorous side and taught religion to the grade schoolers. I ran into him as an adult and he was happy to reminisce about my family and his days at St. Matt’s. Truly one of the best priests of our area. My condolences to his family.
