Obituary of Kathleen P. Snyder

Kathleen P. Barrett Snyder, of Liverpool, NY, died on her 75th birthday, today September 24, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.

"Its considered a blessing or that they completed their God given earthly mission when dying on their birthday".   Kathy will be missed by the many people she made smile and she was loved by everyone.  She retired in 2014 after 47 years at Upstate Medical University.  She also worked at Crouse and St. Joseph's Hospitals. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School and attended the St. Joseph's School of Nursing.  

She was predeceased by her father, William T. Barrett, her mother, Irene D. (Ciero) Barrett, and her brother, William N. Barrett.  She is survived by her brothers, James D. (Lorraine) Barrett of Baltimore Maryland and Patrick Barrett of Syracuse New York. Her step daughter, Dawn Altmeyer of Skaneateles New York, step grandsons, Jack, Jessie and Jordan Altmeyer of Skaneateles New York, her niece, Kelly (Scott) Tanner of Baltimore Maryland and her nephew, James D. Barrett  Jr. of Baltimore Maryland and also several cousins.
