Daniel M. Connelly, 62, of Syracuse, NY passed away at home on Thursday, August 21, 2025. “Danny” was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.  Daniel spent his working years as a truck driver and forklift operator.  In his free time Daniel enjoyed music, collecting movies and being with family at home and at camp.  Danny will be remembered as a great listener, a gentle soul and always a shoulder to lean on. His presence will be missed deeply by those closest to him.  We love you “Dan-o”.  

Daniel was predeceased by father, William J. Connelly and mother, Patricia J. Connelly.  

Surviving are his siblings, William Connelly II (Susan), Nora Little, Lawrence Connelly and Patricia A. Connelly (Mark White), friend and companion, Debbie Martin,  his “two kids,” Brittany and Mark as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 4 to 6pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, his funeral services will be held immediately after at 6pm at at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Syracuse, NY.  Burial will be private.
