Maryann Leonard, 75, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Maryann retired from being the resident manager for Pinecrest Manor, but was still a resident member. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed spending time with her husband, Mike and dog, Dapper at their camp on Lake Ontario.

She is predeceased by her parents, Betty Kocik, and Charles Aldrich, and siblings, Kenneth Kocik,and Christine Casey.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Wait, siblings, Robert Kocik, Richard Kocik, and Betty Jean Karpinski, sons, John Francis and Scott Leonard (Tracy Finke), step children, Nicolle (Travis) Brunson, Brittany (Matt) Spagnola, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

At her requests, there will be no calling hours. A celebration will be held at a later point.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Central New York SPCA.
