Anne E. (Kieffer) Richart, 81, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse, Anne was an active member of the community, always offering assistance to those in need. She was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Anne’s accomplishments were many; graduating from Saint Patrick's High School, retired from the railroad, and she was an extremely accomplished medical transcriptionist. She dedicated much of her time to mentoring and listening to others at the AA hall in East Syracuse, offering support and compassion to those on their journey to recovery.  She will be deeply missed and forever treasured in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Jane Kieffer and brother, Frank L Kieffer. 

She is survived by her loving son, Sean M. Richart (Dione), four grandchildren, Eryn, Carl, Aprile and Shane, 4 great grandchildren, Nolan, Lucas, Beau, and Nero, 2 sisters, Mary Farrelly, and Katherine Kieffer, niece Cathleen Garzone; nephews, Charles and Daniel Garzone, and many cousins.

The family invites friends to honor her life with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21st, at Saint Patrick’s Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204. Following the mass, there will be a burial at Assumption Cemetery. A celebration of her life will begin at 12:00 p.m at Saint Patrick's.
