Frederick “Dick” Scobell passed away of natural causes at the age of 90 on December 1st. He will be remembered by all for his bright smile and laugh. Always there to lend a hand or drive everyone around without question. Even at the age of 90 he could remember more than the rest of us, he had a knack with numbers; knowing everyone's license plates and years anything happened. Most of all he was a family man who gave his heart and love to all. He was a devoted Catholic.

Dick was predeceased by his parents, Ida and Frederick Scobell and sister, Betty Bartholomew.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 69 years, Anne, his children Cheryl (David) Arnault, Kathy (Pete) Szelewski, Anne Scobell, Dan (Michelle) Scobell, Kim (Pat) Salanger, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, special sister-in-law, Pat Krause and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5th at 10:30 at St. Patrick's St. Brigid’s Church, 216 N Lowell Ave. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4th from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to St. Patrick’s Church.
