Albert Joseph Collingbourne Obituary

Albert Joseph Collingbourne, known as Joe, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by loved ones.


He was predeceased by his wife, Estelle Marie Collingbourne (O’Leary), his parents, Rosalee (Doyle) and William Collingbourne, his in-laws, and his beloved brother, Ronald Francis Collingbourne.


Joe is survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Anne Collingbourne (Snyder), Nieces and Nephews Gerry(Sue) Collingbourne, John(Sara) Collingbourne, Anne Marie Collingbourne; Shannon O'Leary and Shawn O'Leary; his children, Michelle Hasan, Joel V. Collingbourne, and Tracy Luke Collingbourne (Mary Jane); his five grandchildren, Jaqueline, Sean, Mikayla, Grady, and Digby; and his great-grandchildren Justen and Max.


Joe was born on May 2, 1932, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He was an avid hockey player and excellent skater, even trying out for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a gifted artist with a fascination for nature and military scenes. Joe attended St. Michael's College School in Toronto which he loved dearly. 


Joe developed a successful career in Sales and Marketing Management, working for Canada Packers and then Agway in the U.S. He was enthusiastic about all kinds of music, with a special love for Big Band Jazz. Above all, he will be remembered by the saying he lived by: “ ‘Tis Himself.”
