William “Bill” McIntosh, age 73, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on February 12th, surrounded by his two beloved sons.

Born on September 5, 1952, in Syracuse, Bill was the son of the late William and Dolores McIntosh. Bill had a long career across several sales jobs, in which he continued to meet and befriend many people who he still counts as friends to this day.

What Bill was best known for was being an amazing friend. His one-liners, antics, and stories would light up a room. He couldn’t go anywhere without running into an old friend he knew. He was also a diehard Yankees fan, and an avid golfer, two passions he passed on to his sons. He could often be found at Tuscarora Golf Club, where he was a long time member.

Bill is predeceased by his wife, Janet McIntosh. He is survived by his two children, Cory (Kristin) McIntosh and Casey McIntosh; and his two grandchildren, Carter and Bennett, who he adored. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11am in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours for Bill will be held at Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral home, on Thursday, February 19th from 3-6pm.
