Barbara Pienkowski Obituary
Barbara (Williams) Pienkowski, 76, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026. Barbara was born on February 2, 1950 and graduated from Onondaga Central High School in 1968. She retired from SUNY ESF and opened her own daycare, a role she cherished. Barbara also worked as an administrator for the Solvay Fire Department, was a member of the Nedrow and Taunton Ladies Auxiliary and she served as secretary for the OCVFA and CNY VFA.
She was predeceased by her parents, James W. and Lorraine P. Williams of Nedrow.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kenneth M.; daughter, Jennifer of Taunton; son, Jamie (Lindsey) of Manlius; 3 grandchildren, Griffin, Cooper, and Oakley Pienkowski, of Manlius; sisters, Linda May of Meherrin, VA, Alice (Joel) FitzGerald of Port Orange, FL, and Jan (Rev. Ken) Thrasher of Ebony, VA and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:30am at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Syracuse, NY 13219. Calling hours will be prior from 9:30am to 11:30am at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, DeWitt, NY.
