To Brendan’s Family,
All of the Morrow Family were so sorry to learn of Brendan’s passing. My sister Julie and I saw him just this summer at Mass at Rosary and had a wonderful time catching up with him. He had an amazing ability to recall details about our families and growing up in our neighborhood. And Brendan was the personification of what it means to be truly interested in and kind to everyone one encounters.
God Rest Your Sweet Soul, Brendan; we have lost one of the best and Heaven has gained another angel.

Brendan and my brother Joe were the best of friends, having met in fifth grade at MHR and remaining close, helping each other throughout their careers. Upon my brother's death in 1999, Brendan provide compassionate support to my mother, visiting her continuously until her own death just two years ago. His life was a living example to all of us of generosity, familial reverence, and engagement with his church and community. Brendan, "May the angels welcome you into paradise; may the martyrs take you upon your way; and, with Lazarus, who was once dead, may you have eternal life." From the Latin requiem ritual.

Ah dear Brendan! What lovely times we spent at Wesleyan sharing Sunday brunch and friendship. Over the years, it has been Brendan who took the initiative to keep us all in touch. ..and he never forgot a birthday, anniversary or a special card at holiday time. I was so glad we had a chance to get together with Brendan and Teresa in Wellfleet this past summer on the Cape. Sitting on the porch, gazing on the bay and enjoying the summer breezes..it was a visit to cherish. May Brendan's memory be for a blessing.

Was so sad to hear that I won't talk to Brendan again. I loved seeing him at MHR or at SU when he'd pop in to visit me in my office at the School of Ed. I thought he was a lovely gentleman who loved his faith, heritage, family and the community in general. He would never fail to ask about my children. Thank you, Brendan for teaching all of us how to be a better person in this world. You're home now.

I will miss Mr. Charlebois. We ran into each other, usually at Rosary, fairly frequently. We have many pleasant, brief and uplifting conversations. Even though I was a punk at MHR, Mr. Charlebois always made me fell like I was one of his favorite students. He was a very kind, gentle and clearly a forgiving man. I am sure he is in heaven now, praying for all of us.

Brendan showed Christian forebearance and mercy. When "student athletes" one winter day slipped his unlocked blue station wagon out of gear and pushed it from the school parking lot to park it on Hubbell Avenue, he did not launch a punishment drive at MHR. He went on with his teaching and language instruction: talented in French and Latin. He was a fine high school English and literature teacher to the Class of 1978 and others such as my brother Tim. Requiescet ad pace. He exemplified the idea of "encouraging one another" from the letters of the apostles. He lived up the street from us, greeting us with pleasantness.
