Obituary of Robert Joseph Canetta

Robert "Bob" Canetta, 88, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at home. Bob was a true car guy. He opened Canetta's Collision in 1954 in the back of his dad and mom's house. He built a building in 1956 at 515 Charles Ave. where it still operates today with their 3rd generation. Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary, sister, Francis (Mark), son, Robert (Julie), grandchildren, Justin and Tiffany, great grandchildren, Ardianna, Ava, and Antonio, nephews, Steven and Kenneth Briggman and nieces, Cathy Briggman and Sandra Samora. The family would like to thank caregivers; Jeff, Yolanda, Queenia, and Kelly. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:30am at St Cecilia's Church; 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay. Calling hours will be held at 9:30am at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home; 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
