Tera Schilling

Obituary of Tera Ann (Williams) Schilling

Please share a memory of Tera to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Tera Ann Schilling passed away on May 28th after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Tera was a loving and dedicated wife to Adam and mother to her 3 boys, whom she loved more than words can say.

She graduated from Westhill High School in 2001 and attended Brockport, Onondaga Community College and then LeMoyne College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Tera worked at Dunk & Bright and then started at Little Apples Daycare teaching Pre-K.  In 2019 Tera entered the Crouse School of Nursing’s accelerated R.N. degree program. When covid hit she managed to continue her studies, teach her Pre-K class via zoom, and assist her 3 boys with their studies and zoom classes.

In May of 2021 she graduated with honors and in an ironic twist chose to start her career on 4 South Oncology at Crouse Hospital. Tera was admitted to 4 South where her fellow nurses and staff took incredible care of her.

Tera is survived by her loving husband, Adam, 3 boys, Aedan Patrick, Declan William, and Conall Markus, dad and mom, Terry and Ann Williams, maternal grandmother, Nancy Crandall, mother and father -in-law, Linda and Bill Schilling, many aunts, uncles and of course “The Cousins.”

Per Tera’s wishes there will be no formal calling hours. Friends may pay their respect on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 9 to 10am at St. Patrick’s St. Brigid’s Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave.  Funeral services will follow at 10am at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Schilling Children College Fund c/o Syracuse Fire Dept. Credit Union; 211 Wilkinson St. Syracuse, NY 13204 or the American Cancer Society.
