Obituary of Paul J. Keohane

Paul J. Keohane, 87, of Syracuse passed away after a long illness. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Paul loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and was an avid sports fan. Paul retired from Strathmore Paints and was a member of the Pastime Club and American Legion. Paul will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife, Catherine of 58 years; daughter, Noreen (Rick) Maroney and grandchildren, Richard and Alayna. He's also survived by his brother, Ed Keohane; sister in laws, Marlene Scuderi, Ann Marie (Rick) Cavallaro and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Nora and Jeremiah; sister, Mary Agnes (Tom) Centore; brothers, John and Don. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at 10am at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Most Holy Rosary Church; 111 Roberts Ave. Syracuse, NY 13207.
