Obituary of Frances K. Heaney

Frances K. Heaney, 78, of Syracuse, NY, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Frances is predeceased by her sons Thomas E. Heaney Jr., Michael G. Heaney, William J. Heaney and Joseph P. Heaney. She is survived by her husband and best friend for 60 years Thomas E. Heaney Sr; Sister; Patricia Diamond; children, Richard V. Heaney and Kathleen E. Kearney (Matthew); 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Frances loved her family very much and will truly be missed. Calling hours will be held, Thursday October 29 from 4-6pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday October 30th at noon at St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford St. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made in Frances's memory to St. Lucy's Food Pantry, 432 Gifford Street Syracuse, NY, 13204.
