Obituary of Helen C. Carpenter

Helen Cornwell Carpenter, 94, died peacefully Tuesday, December 12, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late Nora and Arnold Cornwell.  She was a graduate of Most Holy Rosary School. 

She was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years, James K. Carpenter, her son, Michael, her siblings, John Cornwell and Arnold Cornwell.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Michael) Downey and Sharon (Paul) Dolan, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Marie Kane, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Michael’s St. Peter’s Church, 4782 W Seneca Turnpike.   The family will receive friends and family from 10:30am to 11:00am prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt, NY.
