Kenneth Arthur Cooper Jr. November 12, 2013 Kenneth Arthur Cooper Jr., 50, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by family & friends after a long, courageous battle with complications due to cancer. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 9, 1963 to Kenneth A. Cooper Sr. and the late Joan McLaughlin Cooper. He spent his life as a painter for IUPAT DC4 Local 31. Kenneth is survived by his father Kenneth A. Cooper Sr.; sisters, Patricia (Joseph) Zappala, Susan Cooper-Linton, Carol Cooper, Colleen (John) Barnum Jr., Kerri Cooper (James Rossiter), & Kathleen Cooper (Douglas Richer); Brother Kevin (Melissa) Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Liturgy service will be held on Wednesday November 20th at 10am at St. Michael – St. Peter Church, 4791 West Seneca Turnpike Syracuse, NY 13215. Calling hours will be held Tuesday November 19th from 4-7 pm at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave Syracuse. A special Thank you to Dr. Caroline Jones, Dr. David Kaufman, and the entire staff at Strong Memorial Hospital.
