Obituary of Raymond H. Elm

Raymond H. Elm, 85, of 355 Bryant Ave, Tipperary Hill passed away peacefully Wednesday surrounded by loved ones. He was born and raised on the Onondaga Reservation and moved to Syracuse in May, 1958 when he married Elizabeth L. Elm. He drove for Eastern Ambulance, worked for the Post Office and was a sign painter on the side. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Lisa Elm (married to Aaron Brilbeck); son, Frederick T. Blanchard; five grandchildren; sister, Verna Connelly; and brother, Lloyd Elm (Gracie). Services will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. The family will receive friends and relatives from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
