Joseph A Williams Obituary
Joseph A. Williams, 85, of the Villas, passed away peacefully Friday. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he was a graduate of St. Anthony of Padua High School. He was a veteran of the Army Engineers, serving in Germany. He retired from Allied Chemical after 38 years.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, the former Mary "Jackie" Dooley; daughters, Mary Ann (Marvin) Perry, Jean Williams; sons, Joseph A. Jr. (Gabrielle), John (Deborah), Thomas (Linda), nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister, Mary Amedro and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday, June 16th at 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 pm, prior to the service. Private burial will be in Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
