Obituary of Albert H. Davis Jr.

Albert Davis, 91, passed away on Tuesday, October 28th. He was predeceased by his wife, Janice, and son, Albert Davis III. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Poppen (Lauren), Diane Bice (David), Lauren Sauve (Joseph), and Jo Ann Pfohl (Wayne), 14 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Davis Smith, devoted brother-in-law, Jack Mott (Ann) and loving friend, Shirley Macinnis. Al was co-owner of Davis Florist and Greenhouses. He resided on Tipp Hill and spent summers on Otisco Lake; after retirement he wintered in Zephyrhills, Florida. He loved golf, card games with his buddies, and having his daily lime gimlet at 4 pm sharp. Services will be on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Calling hours will held on Tuesday from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
