Obituary of David M. Burns Jr.

David M. Burns Jr., 40, of Syracuse, passed away after a short illness on Friday, December 19, 2014, with his family by his side. He was born in Syracuse, NY on August 29, 1974. David was a graduate of Corcoran High School and was employed with Spirit and Sanzone Distributing Co. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed by so many. He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy J. Burns. David is survived by his father, David M. Burns Sr.; sister, Erin (Jason) Macko; brothers, Brian (Tracy) Burns and Mark (Dee) DeCoste; nieces and nephews, Jason and Jacob Macko; Quinn and Madison Burns; Marchele, Alex, Sera, and Elyse DeCoste. Calling hours will be from 2-5 pm Sunday, December 21 at Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Services will be Monday at 10am on December 22 at St. Ann's Church, 4461 Onondaga Blvd., Syracuse. Burial will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Dewitt.
