George was one of our favorite persons. Always a gentleman, a great friend to all who knew him, a pleasant personality who always had a smile for you, even though things may not have been going well for him. All of the people he bowled with for so many years, including us, have nothing but fondness and admiration for this kind & gentle person and he will live on in our minds & hearts forever.

Uncle George is with aunt Agnes and my mom Sally Orr Mattiaccio and the rest of the gang. I can imagine the stories they are telling now. The Mattiaccio family is very sorry for the passing of Uncle George. May he rest in peace.

George would always help me out when picking out gifts for my hunting and fishing family and friends. When we were little, he always let us catch minnows with the scoop and would pick out a crayfish to show us. Many happy memories of the baitshop and his smiling face! Prayers to the family.

My memories Uncle George were of a kind man that always had a smile when were young and dad stopped at the bait shop before he took us to camp with mom. He would come out to the car and tell us good-bye, have fun and always had a bag of candy bars for us. So sad for your loss.

Just wanted to say sorry. I knew George vaugely but did know Agnes,Margaret Tomeny, and grew up with the Orr family. My mom, Mary Stormes knew George and Agnes. We knew her, Sally, Margaret and Patty Adams. So sorry.
