Obituary of Andrea M. Fleming Ennis

Andrea M. Fleming Ennis, 52, of Camillus, passed away on October 10th, after a courageous 3-year battle with brain cancer. Andrea was a long-time medical office assistant, working for the past 8 years as an account representative for CNY Fertility Center. Prior to that, she spent 14 years with Orthopedic Associates and 5 years with Fallon Oral Surgery. Her talent for baking and cooking along with her extensive collection of cookbooks and ample garden kept her busy in the kitchen, but her radiant smile was most frequently glimpsed when she had a house full of family and friends to share these meals with, especially at holidays. Andrea also found joy in weaving baskets, camping and boating, and sightseeing and taking day trips. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Timothy Ennis; her mother, Rose Marie Fleming, of Syracuse; her father, Richard Allen Fleming, Sr., of Yadkinville, NC; three brothers, Mark Fleming of Syracuse, Jeff Fleming of Cleveland, NC, and Richard Fleming, Jr. of Sterling, NY; several brothers- and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews whom she adored as if they were her own children. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 pm on October 14th, at Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. A celebration of Andrea's life will be held at 10 am on Oct. 15th, at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
