Obituary of Morgan Brittany Axe
Please share a memory of Morgan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our sweet angel, Morgan Brittany Axe, 24 went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior on November 7, 2015. Her story does not end; as she will spend everlasting life in heaven with baby Isaiah Douglas Lee Mathis, and her beloved Pop-Pop Douglas Axe.
Morgan touched so many lives through her passions: her unsurpassed love of family and friends, her amazing love of animals, her inimitable sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh, along with her self-expression through her natural artistic abilities. These qualities and so much more embodied her beautiful untamable spirit.
It was with that fiery spirit, she endeavored to conquer her demons in this life. However Jesus deemed it time for her to finally rest, and be at peace within His grace. Her dreams were to someday open a dog rescue, while also helping others with their battles against addiction. This latter dream will be taken up by her beloved mother, Deanna, in honor of Morgan's memory and in lasting tribute to her life.
Morgan is survived by her mother, Deanna Axe of Syracuse; father Brett (Karin) Wormley; siblings, Brooke, Chloe and Drew Wormley of East Rochester; her boyfriend, Isaiah Mathis of Syracuse; maternal grandmother, Sharon (Mark) Doneburgh of Syracuse; paternal grandparents, Malcolm and Patricia Wormley of Batavia, NY; Aunt Kimberly Cook and Uncle Brent (Kristen) Axe of Syracuse, Aunt Mary Christine (Mike) Luker, Uncle Geoff (Amanda) Wormley, Uncle Mike (Jennifer) Wormley, Uncle Brian (Christine) Wormely and Aunt Mary Beth (Dereck) Ells and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, Syracuse on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 7pm with the Pastor Bruce Aubrey officiating. Calling hours are prior to the funeral on Wednesday from 4 to 7pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dewitt Animal Hospital, P.C.; 5620 Thompson Road, Dewitt, NY 13214.
