Obituary of John A. Payne

John A. Payne, 69, of Syracuse, passed away Monday evening with family by his side at Upstate Medical Center. John attended St. Patrick's School in Syracuse and is retired from BOMAC Inc. and the New York State Fair. John was predeceased by his parents, Yolanda (Allegrina) and Edsall. He is survived by his sons, John, Christopher (Ileana) and Eric (Rhonda); daughter, Lisa (Modugno); brother, Peter (Patricia); sisters, Dina Dugan and Christena (Steve) Sapka; his grandchildren, John III, Jacob, Ryan, Sophie, Lauren, Emily, Caroline and Catherine; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 9:30am on Friday, December 11, 2015 at St. Patrick's Church, Syracuse. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7pm on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave., Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 216 N Lowell Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204.
