Dr. Ungerer was our family dentist for many years.He was not only proficient in the field of dentistry,but handled his clients with compassion and care. On one occasion our son\'s front tooth was knocked loose from a football hit. It was a Saturday and we called Dr. Ungerer. He said \"Meet me in my office in five minutes\". Our son was 10 years old. Dr Ungerer had a calming demeanor during this stressful time along with some comments that made us all laugh. He was a special person who will be missed. Bud was a classmate and friend from our days at Lincoln Jr. High School and Nottingham High. He was a sensible, generous man, a gentleman of grace and intelligence. I will always think of him fondly.

I was shocked to read this. Buddy's family had a summer home on Oneida Lake, two doors down from my family's place. He was a mentor to us younger kids and an overall great guy. My deepest condolences to his wife and daughter, and to Bobby, Ronnie, Ritchie, and Sally. We were all close friends growing up.
