Obituary of Donna J. Seager (D'Eredita)

Donna J. Seager (D'Eredita), 71, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Donna retired from United American Insurance Company in January 2016 where she was honored with a 10 year service award for her excellent service. She was also previously employed at APA Transportation Company. Donna enjoyed bowling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Barry P. Seager, her parents, Archie and Virginia D'Eredita, and her sister, Annette D'Eredita. Donna is survived by her children; Barry (Kimberly) Seager III, Michele Giannuzzi, Peter (Melissa) Seager and Michael Seager, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her siblings; Albert (Kathy), Carol (Chuck) Weaver, Debbie (John) Berta-Ainslie, Joe, Robert (Polly) and Rosemary D'Eredita, her sister-in-law, Mary Lou (John) Thomasmeyer, several nieces and nephews and her best and beloved friend, Suzi Higgins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10am at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue. Ave. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society: 6725 Lyons St, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
