Obituary of Frederick W. Stoddard

Frederick "Fred" W. Stoddard, 80, of Syracuse, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Fred was an avid sports fan, especially of the Syracuse Nationals and Syracuse Chiefs. He was employed by Stickley Furniture of Fayetteville and Manlius for 49 years. Fred was predeceased by his sisters, Lila Wright and June Molgano and his brother, Thomas. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Charlie Wright; nephews, Philip Wright (Nancy Collins), Jeffrey Wright (Steve Lippy) and Ross Molgano (Deb Clary) as well his great nieces and great-great nieces and nephew. A prayer service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3108 Bellevue Ave. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 2pm to 3pm. Contributions may be made to Loretto Foundation. The family would like to recognize and thank all the staff of Loretto Cunningham 3rd and 11th floors for the care and love provided to Fred during his stay.
