Obituary of Thomas Joseph Barry

Thomas J. Barry, 77, of Syracuse, NY passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016. Thomas was a retired carpenter for Union Local 12. He was a member of St. Ann's Church. Thomas was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Beverly "Chick" Barry. He survived by his three sons; Kevin (Teresa), Sean (Kimberly), and Dennis (Danielle), eight grandchildren; Olivia, Sam, Shaelee, Alex, Jacob, Kylee, Addison and Savannah, his sister, Anne Barry of Syracuse, NY and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 10 am at St. Ann's Church, 4471 Onondaga Blvd. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7pm on Tuesday at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., East Syracuse, NY 13057
