Obituary of Kathleen Carey Black

Kathleen Carey Black, 72, died October 31st at Upstate Hospital after an extended illness. Kathy was predeceased by her son Eric Babrow and parents Kathryn & John Carey. She is survived by her husband William Black, sister Noreen Kelley, brother Rev. James Carey, daughter- in- law Jennifer Bobrow, a nephew and three nieces. She was formerly employed as an admistrative assistant by the city of Syracuse School District at Bellevue School, Unity Church and Knitch Tool Company. Kathy and Bill loved to hike and travel, visitng Ireland, Scotland and Germany. In recent years they enjoyed opera, antiqueing and long daily walks and loving each others company. Kathys caring ways and sense of humor will be greatly missed. A mass of remeberance will be celebrated at a time to be announced.
