Obituary of Riley B. Thayer

Riley B. Thayer, 17, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2017. Riley was a senior at WestHill High School. Riley loved riding her horse, Vinni Valone and playing with her dog, Chase. She was a quirky fun loving kid and will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her parents, Brian (Jenn) and Jean (Jeff), her sisters, Ashleigh (Troy) and Nicole (Cree) grandmothers, Eva Emmi and Barb (Steve) Farrington, several aunts, uncles and cousins and the Denise Vespa Stable Family. The family will receive friends and relatives, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 4 to 7pm at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10am at St. Charles, 417 S. Orchard Rd, Syracuse, NY 13219. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Riley's memory may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital Rochester; 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
