Obituary of Paula "Polly" Cassady

M. Paula Cassady, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at the Nottingham on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.  Polly was a member of Most Holy Rosary Church, Onondaga Art Guild, Bradford Art Group, MHR Seniors, and MHR Women’s Bowling League.  She was a former Officer & Director of Loretto Guild and previous VP CNY Girl Scout Council.  Polly graduated with a chemistry degree from the College of St. Francis, Joliet, IL.

Polly is predeceased by her brothers and sister-in-law, John (Anne) and Laurence Corrigan.  She is survived by husband, Raymond J. Cassady, M.D.; children, Patrick, Timothy (Shelley), Kathleen, Frances (Terence) Feehan and Margaret (Paul Burgay); siblings, Frances Corrigan and Janice Meyers; 6 grandchildren; and several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.  

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, July 16, 2018, at Most Holy Rosary Church.  Calling hours will be held 5 to 7pm on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave., Syracuse, NY 13207.
