We just learned of this tragic loss of a cousin I didn't know we had. Our family is large and spread far and wide and I often regret that we are not as close as we wish to be. I have very high regard for all of my Davis cousins and feel sure that Brian must have been an outstanding young man because he comes from an outstanding family of beautiful and loving people. I regret that Mary and I could not be with our cousins to offer our condolences. We pray that God's grace eases your sorrow. God put Brian among you and has now taken him home.

Ludden JV basketball tryouts, I’m assuming Brian caught a glimpse of the final cut before the list was posted. He pulled me aside and told me I could relax because I made the team - at the time it was amazing news. It was a small gesture but one that, for some reason, has always stuck with me. Thoughts and prayers to Brian’s family and many close friends. RIP

I just met Brian recently but what was said about his smile and his personality was very true... he was truly a beautiful person and had an incredible spirit. Words can not express how heavy my heart is from his passing. I pray for his family and loved ones to find strength, courage and faith in one another as they find a way to carry on. I may not have known Brian very well or for a long time but I will never forget him. Heaven is very lucky to have him as a bright angel now.

We never stop to think about tomorrow we take it for granted thinking yesterday will always lead to the next time we meet again. Life is so precious so fragile so complicated, filled with love filled with friends filled with relatives they are so close but so far away. In times like this we camp at to think what may have been what tomorrow or next year would’ve brought family children life experiences. We must never judge anyone without judging ourselves we cannot be perfect in life nor too many of us try to. We except things the way they are hoping that will turn the corner and feel how beautiful this world really is. It is difficult to think that we can be perfect, life is a long journey into the night our bodies are so fragile. Time is not always on our side, so it’s so hard do you think another day will come, so go in Reston peace thinking that Brian lived a full life and yet it seems like there’s just so much more. And so now in this time of sorrow we must never forget.

Although Brian and I hadn’t seen each other since I moved to SC five years ago the news of his death hit me hard and is very sad and unsettling. Brian and I went to high school together one year apart. We grew apart in our adulthood but whenever we ran into eachother it was always a good time and like we never skipped a beat. That infectious smile and uplifting attitude was always a pleasure to be around and will sorely be missed. Heart felt condolences to the whole family and close friends. I hope that you all Can find some comfort and ease with this difficult time as soon as possible. Perhaps come together to fill what is sure to be a huge hole in your hearts for years to come, but take solice in knowing your boy Smokey will be smiling down with that big grin reflecting the suns shine. RIP Smokes, I’ll miss ya
